About Courtney

Courtney Woodruff is a writer, editor and web content manager. She grew up in a small Texas town where she knew nothing but roots until she set off on an unexpected adventure when her husband joined the military shortly after they got married.

She has a heart for our troops and strives to share what little she has learned from her journey to serve and encourage fellow military families, parents, expats and family travelers.

We’re all in this together.

Courtney holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling: Military Resilience from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in English, Art and Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas. Currently, she works part-time as a writer-editor for Stars and Stripes Europe in Kaiserslautern, Germany and contributes content to Military One Click.

When she’s not behind the computer, you’re likely to find Courtney exploring new places with her husband and boys, lost in the pages of a book or working to refine her novice photography skills.
